Description

DUTIES:
-    Data entry including accounts payable and payroll for multiple companies
-    Review, verify and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports
-    Drafting of documents for land purchases and new home sales
-    Carrying out clerical duties such as answering phone calls and responding to emails courteously and in a timely manner, as well as sorting incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail
-    Maintaining information on company websites
-    Perform general reception duties - welcoming visitors and clients and directing them to the relevant office personnel
-    Managing office supplies and oversee the maintenance of office facilities and equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:
-    Accounting/bookkeeping experience required  accounting or business administration certificate would be an asset
-    Sage accounting software an asset
-    Proficiency in Microsoft Office  Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Docusign
-    Knowledge of Buildertrend or construction project management software is an asset

SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:
-    Ability to manage time effectively and maintain accuracy under deadlines
-    Solid understanding of month-end accruals and accounting principles in order to aid in account reconciliations
-    Collaborate with team members to meet goals and deadlines
-    Investigate and resolve discrepancies with purchase orders, contracts, invoices and payments
-    Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, trades and clients
-    Be personable, have the ability to work independently and with a strong attention to detail
-    Be adaptable  can easily adjust to frequent changes
