CHEP Good Food Inc. is seeking a collaborative and visionary Executive Director to lead our organization into its next phase of growth. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director provides strategic leadership, oversees operations and finances, and ensures that programs align with our mission of advancing food security and community well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategic direction, operations, and program delivery with the Board.
Manage and mentor a team of about 25 full- and part-time staff.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial sustainability.
Strengthen relationships with funders, community partners, and government.
Represent CHEP publicly as a trusted voice on food security and healthy communities.
Qualifications:
Degree in Public Policy, Business, Public Health, Social Work, or related fieldor equivalent experience.
Minimum five years senior leadership experience in non-profit or public sectors.
Strong financial management, communication, and team-building skills.
Understanding of food security issues and Indigenous cultural contexts.
Compensation:
$80,000$85,000 annually, 4 weeks vacation, employer-paid benefits, RRSP match, and professional development support.
