Description

We are currently seeking a casual Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team.

The preferred candidate will hold Level I, II, or III certification in Early Childhood Education. ECE certification is an asset, but all applicants will be considered.

The ECE works collaboratively with other staff members, builds positive relationships with families, and serves as a role model for children.

Responsibilities include:

Planning and implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in line with the centers philosophy.

Ensuring active supervision and maintaining a safe, clean, and positive environment.

Supporting daily routines and teamwork within the center.

Completing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Director.

Job Requirements:


Experience in a licensed childcare setting is an asset.

French language skills are an asset, but English-speaking applicants are also welcome to apply.

Flexibility with scheduling.

Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Verification (dated within 3 months of hire).

Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification.
