Chateau St. Michaels is a vibrant 93 room personal care home located in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
We are currently seeking an Assistant Cook to join our culinary services team on a casual basis.
Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
Preparation and delivery of meals and snacks for residents according to planned menus
Preparation and delivery of foods for therapeutic/specialty diets according to planned menus and resident care plans
Maintain the dining area and kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
Ensure proper food handling and storage techniques
Adhere to time schedules for service of meals and snacks
Follow and comply with health and safety legislation and safe job procedures
Perform other duties, as assigned
The successful candidate must have their Food Safe Certificate and a clear criminal record check upon hire. Must be available to work morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends.
