As a part-time food associate, you will:
- Provide a positive customer experience with fair, friendly and courteous service.
- Work with a great team and receive all required training for the position.
- Register sales on a point-of-sale system by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customer's purchases.
- Any other duties needed to help to drive Gateway Co-ops vision and abide by our Co-operative's values.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 19 years or older in age.
- Experience as a grocery clerk or retail experience is an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, people and customer service skills.
- Must be able to multi-task in a very fast paced environment and have capability to work independently.
- Positive attitude, strong interpersonal expertise and energetic personality.
- Physically able to do heavy lifting of 22 kgs (50 lbs.), climbing, kneeling.
- Willing to work all shifts scheduled including mornings, evenings and weekends.
