The Beaver River Regional Housing Authority has an opportunity for a permanent, full-time Administrative Assistant to join their team in Beauval. The Position:
In this front-line position, you will:
- Respond to inquiries related to housing programs and services, including incoming calls and walk-in traffic
- Enter applicant and tenant data, ensuring accurate and current information is maintained
- Maintain general office, tenant, and rental until file systems
- Provide clerical and administrative support to office staff and Manager as requested
- Prepare maintenance work orders, tenant packages, correspondence, and reports
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Efficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide professional service to clients/customers
- Exceptional client relations skills including experience working with seniors, families, and at-risk individuals
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent (some post-secondary in business administration would be an asset)
- Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with the public
- A valid drivers license, reliable, roadworthy vehicle, and an approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment
