Description

ALFA Engineering Ltd. is a Regina-based Electrical Engineering Firm. We provide prime and sub-consulting services for commercial, institutional, educational, municipal, recreational, and light industrial construction projects. Most of our projects are located within the Province of Saskatchewan, but we are also authorized to work in Alberta, Manitoba, and the Northwest Territories.

We are currently seeking to add a Junior Design Engineer to our team. The position will be in person.

Your duties will include:    
-    Assessing available material to determine its suitability for use on specific projects
-    Conducting site investigations to determine existing system composition
-    Developing preliminary, schematic, and detailed designs and specifications for building electrical systems

Your qualifications include:
-    A degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Systems Engineering from an Accredited Electrical Engineering program recognized by the University of Saskatchewan/University of Regina
-    Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGS  
-    Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word software and
-    Experience in the use of Revit and AutoCAD software applications is preferred, but education can be provided if required.

We are seeking individuals who:
-    Are self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-    Are well organized and can manage their time efficiently and effectively, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.
-    Enjoy working with a group of other professionals interested in a team approach.
-    Have a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan drivers license, but it is not a requirement.
