Prairie Valley School Division is inviting applications for the position of Vice Principal at Robert Southey School.  Robert Southey School offers Kindergarten to Grade 12 programming to an enrolment of approximately 261 students.  There is a professional staff compliment of 18 FTE teachers and 7.68 FTE support staff.  Robert Southey School provides a strong academic program and supports students to become caring, competent, responsible citizens who value education and life-long learning.  Southey is located 55km north of Regina.

Education & Experience:
Candidates will have a Bachelor of Education, Professional A teaching certificate, a masters degree in a related field (or willingness to obtain as a condition of employment) and demonstrated leadership experience.  Experience as a school-based administrator is considered an asset.

Skills & Abilities:
By way of cover letter and resume, candidates will demonstrate experience in the 4 competency areas of learning leadership, human resource leadership, setting direction, and professional leadership attributes and orientation.

Terms:  Commencing December 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027.

Compensation & Assignment:
This position includes 40% administrative duties, 60% elementary generalist teaching assignment.  Salary and benefits are outlined in the STF Provincial Collective Bargaining agreement and Local Collective Bargaining Agreement for teachers.  The current administrative allowance is approximately $13,965.
