The Facilities & Fleet department at the City of Regina is in the market for a dedicated and passionate individual who is prepared to make a difference in the quality of life that citizens enjoy. If you are the successful candidate, you will achieve this by managing multi-disciplined facilities projects applying engineering knowledge in architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical facility systems. There is an opportunity for the candidate to lead and support an exciting and wide range of projects including facility improvements and new facility construction. In addition to the delivery of projects, you will perform research, engineering, facility condition assessments, feasibility studies and project planning and support for over 200 City owned and regularly occupied facilities. This position reports to a Senior Engineer.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
-Provides research, project management, engineering, and advisory services related to the management of facility assets. Responsibilities include studies, planning, design, construction, data/asset management, monitoring, modeling, operations, rehabilitation, maintenance, contracts, budgets, and investment strategies.
