Description

The Athabasca Denesuline Education Authority (ADEA) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Grade 3 Teacher for Father Megret Elementary School in Hatchet Lake, Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to project-based learning, and the ability to create an engaging, culturally responsive classroom that supports each childs growth and success.

ADEA serves over 1,400 students across the northern Denesuline First Nations communities of Black Lake, Hatchet Lake, and Fond Du Lac. We are committed to advancing educational outcomes by integrating Denesuline culture and language into the curriculum, using modern technology, and supporting innovative teaching practices.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary aligned with the provincial teacher grid, plus a northern allowance, subsidized housing, and comprehensive benefits including vision, dental, life insurance, health services, and a registered pension plan. Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Education and be eligible for a Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate. Experience teaching First Nations students or in remote communities, as well as First Aid certification, are considered assets.
