Description

The City of Meadow Lake seeks an energetic, self-motivated, and team focused Program Manager to join our Parks & Recreation department. The ideal candidate would possess a passion for recreation coupled with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Reporting directly to the Parks & Recreation Manager, you will be key in developing effective programs, overseeing activities and details, and measuring the overall success of program offerings.
Duties:
- Develops sport, culture, and recreation-based programs or revise current community programs
- Ensures a variety of community programs and special events are implemented throughout the multiple parks, green spaces, and facilities in the City.
- Works with Aquatic Centre Manager regarding pool rentals and programming
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of programs through feedback from participants, parents, and/or community and other external stakeholders.
- Creates promotional material
- Oversees facility schedules and related invoicing
- Oversees daily cash operations and works with finance department on transaction reconciliation
- Prepares and administers contracts
- Assists in grant applications and reports
- Works with community groups to facilitate regular facility usage and long-term leases
- Other duties as assigned
