The Role

Robust category management is critical to supply chains success.  

In this role, you will:
-Responsible for building category strategy for construction and complex services to ensure operational efficiencies.
-Establish a strong network and foster collaboration with customers, suppliers, key stakeholders and team members.
-Responsible for the identification, development, execution, and management of strategic sourcing opportunities for construction and complex services.
-Conduct regular strategy performance reviews, both with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and adjust sourcing strategies to mitigate market risks and leverage market opportunities.
-Monitor vendor service levels by developing and utilizing KPIs and scorecards to provide fact-based feedback on vendor performance.
-Manage performance driven relationships and utilizingcontinuous improvement methodologies, you will identify, develop, and implement improvements to align with business needs and market changes.
-Lead the development and negotiation of contracts in alignment with the category strategy and collaborate with internal stakeholders to move forward on objectives.
-Engage cross-functional teams and establish and maintain relationships to secure participation and support of ongoing activities.

Required:  
-Bachelors degree in commerce/business, supply chain management, or engineering
-Minimum seven years of progressive experience in supply chain management, vendor management and/or procurement
