Correctional Officers are professionals who work directly with adult offenders, holding them accountable and supporting positive change in their lives, while maintaining the safe and secure operation of the facility.
As a Correctional Officer, you will:
- Be responsible for the safety and security of the facility through monitoring, supervising, and interacting with offenders in various correctional settings;
- Work collaboratively in the creation and implementation of case plans for reintegration into the community; and
- Lead offenders in daily programming and promote personal development in decision-making and problem-solving skills.
