MEE Sports, a leading provider of custom athletic apparel, is seeking 3 sewing machine
operators to join our dynamic team. We specialize in creating unique, high-quality designs for
cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, and more.
Position: sewing machine operator
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $16.00 /hour (paid on a semi-monthly basis)
Work hours: 35-40 hours/week.
Location: 733 1st Ave N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1X9
Key Responsibilities:
Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment
Operate sewing machines or sew by hand
Operate machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products on
a piecework or production basis
Set in sleeves, pockets, collars and other garment pieces
Use sewing guides and tension devices
Qualifications:
Secondary school completion is required.
experience is preferred.
You are entitled to overtime pay for hours worked more than 40 hours per week and/or more
than 8 hours per day will be paid at 1.5 x the hourly rate of pay.
You will be entitled to 3 weeks annual vacation which is calculated on your earnings at a rate of
5.77%.
