Description

The Ministry of Social Services invests in positive outcomes for people through income support, child and family services, disability support, and affordable housing. We work with citizens to build better lives through economic independence, strong families, and resilient communities.

We are seeking dynamic individuals interested in working in a Northern Saskatchewan location with a flexible work rotation. This opportunity is based in Meadow Lake and offers a Drive In/Drive Out model over a four-week average period. Employees work 11-hour days (Monday to Saturday) with scheduled days off. Emergency Duty Work may be required in the evenings. Travel time to and from Meadow Lake may be compensated, and staff housing may be provided.

We are looking for candidates who are committed to helping others and improving the lives of children and families. The ideal candidate will be flexible, compassionate, and ready to work in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Indian Social Work, or an equivalent degree from a CASSW-accredited university. A valid Saskatchewan drivers license is required, as travel and transporting clients are part of the role. Candidates must be available for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Experience and qualifications must be clearly outlined in your resume or cover letter.

Preference will be given to qualified Indigenous applicants who self-declare. All applications will be reviewed, but only those selected for interviews will be contacted. This competition may be used to fill future vacancies for up to six months.
