Description

The Role
Cameco is looking for a student who is passionate about IT security to work with a group of talented and dedicated individuals to ensure our global IT systems are secure and controlled. As a member of this team you will play a critical role in contributing to the success of the business technology services (BTS) department and their goal to provide technological solutions that maximize business value while minimizing risk.

In this role you will:
-be part of a team that implements the information security program, promotes IT security awareness, investigates IT security incidents, audits minimum security configuration settings and monitors the corporations information systems and environment for incidents relating to non-authorized use of privilege or external intrusion attempts.
-support security processes such as security incident response, vulnerability management, and participating in security-related projects.

Required:  
-You are a third- or fourth-year university student currently enrolled in computer science or related program
-Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
