The Role
As a member of the corporate safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) department, you will provide support on radiation protection issues, including utilizing specialized tools, software and techniques to assist the sites in day-to-day operations and mitigation of potential hazards.
In this role, you will:
-Implement the radiation protection program and associated standards at the sites, including modifying or improving documentation, ensuring proper equipment use and consistency across the company.
-Enter data in a database of worker and workplace radiation information.
-Assist in the administration of radiation data.
Required:
-You are entering your third or fourth year as a university student specializing in physics, engineering physics, or other physical sciences/engineering.
-This position is in Saskatoon with frequent trips to the northern Saskatchewan sites by aircraft.
-You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.

-Field experience is an asset.
