The Role
The Saskatoon Transit Warehouse is responsible for safely and efficiently verifying and distributing materials. As part of this team, your role will assist in completion of various transportation and logistical activities that support our Northern Saskatchewan operations.
In this role, you will:
-Assist in the daily activities at the transit warehouse in Saskatoon, including material handling, receiving freight, entering data into SAP, dealing with couriers, filing packing slips and other administrative work as assigned.
-The successful candidate will work a term of approximately four months (May to August) and will assist with a variety of special projects and other day-to-day activities.
-Work an eight-hour-shift between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, on a Monday Friday basis.
Required:
-Applicable computer skills, including data entry and word processing
-You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco
Recommended:
-Interest in pursuing a career in supply chain management
-Previous experience with SAP
-Experience with Microsoft Office
-Previous safety training certifications
