Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan (PBLS) is accepting applications for a full-time one-year term Programs Coordinator position in Regina, Saskatchewan.

PBLS is a non-profit charitable corporation that improves access to justice in Saskatchewan by creating, facilitating, and promoting opportunities for lawyers to provide high-quality pro bono legal services to persons of limited means.  We operate 17 Free Legal Clinics across Saskatchewan and provide other free legal services to low-income Saskatchewan residents.

The person who holds this position will coordinate and manage the schedules and volunteer lawyers for our 17 Free Legal Clinics, training and supervising practicum and summer students and performing client intake, which involves providing information and answering inquiries regarding the Saskatchewan legal system and making appropriate referrals within and outside the organization.  In addition, this person will support the work of the Executive Director, and staff in the areas of file management, project management and perform general administrative duties.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be able to communicate with persons who may be in crisis and people with varying abilities in a professional and sensitive manner. The successful candidate will also have a high level of comfort with computers and technology, the ability to organize, manage, and solve problems with a positive attitude, and the ability to work individually as well as in a team environment.    

Experience in the legal and/or non-profit fields is beneficial.  This position offers a salary range of $50,000 - $60,000 depending on relevant experience and education, a 35-hour work week, a benefit plan, and a working environment that supports work-life balance.
