Job Description: Reporting to the Manager and as a member of the Adult Services team, the Addictions Counsellor Degree's primary goal will be to assess, counsel and develop comprehensive recovery and case management plans which will restore, maintain or enhance the recovery of people seeking help for addiction and/or addiction related issues. Responsibilities will include the provision of best practice methodology to assess and screen clients, and to provide individual and group counselling. The primary role of this position will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team providing virtual care.

- Knowledge of therapeutic modalities such as CBT,DBT,MI & Stages of Change

- Ability to accurately assess addictions and make appropriate recovery plans
- Strong knowledge of the best practices associated with treating addictions
- Ability to promote healthy lifestyles with diverse populations
