Description

We are seeking a skilled and client-focused candidate to lead innovative projects and solve complex water management problems through collaborative and results-driven efforts.

This role requires excellent communication skills as you will be working directly with clients to develop and advance agriculture water management projects that support farm efficiency and economic growth, while ensuring impacts to water quality, downstream flooding and habitat are managed. As a technical expert, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is of the utmost importance to ensure projects are designed and operating in compliance with applicable legislation and policy.

You will facilitate responsible drainage within resilient watersheds and develop or advance responsible Ag Water Management projects through data collection, processing and analysis, calculations, assessments, research, and mapping.

As an Agriculture Water Management  Specialist, you will also faciliate client, qualified person, and stakeholder education, communication, and support to improve understanding and compliance with regulatory programs.

The successful candidate will have a diploma in Water Resources Engineering Technology or a similar discipline with 3 years. A minimum of 36 months experience in a Agruculture Water Manangement role is required.
Certification with a relevant professional association is preferred. This includes but is not limited to P.Tech or TechAg.
This role is subject to a satisfactory criminal record check.
