We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-organized Recreational Supervisor to oversee our recreational gymnastics programs for children. You don't need gymnastics experience, but you must enjoy working with children and believe in the importance of play, movement, and physical literacy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and organize recreational gymnastics programs and schedules.
2. Coach and supervise recreational classes each week.
3. Support, mentor, and evaluate coaches as they gain experience and complete training.
4. Communicate with parents about class placement, athlete progress, and program updates.
5. Work with the office and management team to ensure smooth program delivery.
6. Promote safety, quality instruction, and a positive environment for all participants.
7. Help plan and run club events and special activities.
Qualifications
Required (or willing to obtain):
1. First Aid & CPR-C
2. Police/Vulnerable Sector Check
3. Respect in Sport certification
4. Strong communication and organizational skills
5. Experience working with children or youth in sport, education, or recreation.
Assets (preferred but not required):
1. NCCP Gymnastics Foundations or willingness to complete training
2. NCCP Level 1 Trampoline or willingness to complete training
3. Experience supervising or mentoring staff or volunteers
