Role Overview
We are seeking an organized, detail-focused Bookkeeper/Office Administrator. You will handle daily bookkeeping, bill payments, payroll, invoicing, government remittances, inventory tracking, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and act as the first point of contact for office enquiries. This role combines hands-on accounting with general office duties for someone who enjoys variety.

Key Responsibilities
-Reconcile daily sales and ensure accurate posting.
-Issue vendor and employee payments with supporting documentation.
-Process payroll: hours, overtime, deductions, and government remittances.
-Complete month-end and year-end reconciliations, review statements, journal entries, and resolve discrepancies.
-Manage incoming emails, invoices, bill payments, correspondence, and maintain vendor/customer accounts.
-Serve as receptionist: greet visitors, answer calls, and handle filing, scanning, mail, and supplies.
-Assist with accounting tasks and support management as required.
-Use Sage 50, Point of Rental, and Microsoft Office to prepare spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence.

Qualifications
-Grade 12 required; post-secondary accounting/bookkeeping training.
-2 years related experience; progressive bookkeeping/administration experience preferred.

Skills
-Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
-Experience with Sage 50 and Point of Rental is an asset.
-Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
-Clear communication and professional interpersonal skills.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy environment.
-High integrity and confidentiality with financial information.

A satisfactory Criminal Record Check (completed within the last 30 days) is required prior to employment.
