We are looking for an experienced Saw Mill Operator to join our team.
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Saw Mill Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have one or more years experience in operating various types of machinery and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of several types of equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals.
Duties
Operate mobile and stationary equipment including saw mill, lathes, and other equipment.
Perform milling tasks as required for specific projects.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safe operation
Collaborate with others as a team to execute plans effectively and safely.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise during operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with saw mill and lathes.
Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor repairs on equipment.
Familiarity with construction processes and site safety regulations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to equipment operation and other various certifications are a plus.
