Description

Responsibilities:

Support a clean, safe, and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and productivity.

Participate in required training and follow all company health and safety guidelines.

Sweep, mop, scrub, and buff floors and stairwells using manual and powered cleaning equipment.

Vacuum carpets and mats; perform daily spot cleaning and shampoo rugs when assigned.

Maintain and carry out basic upkeep on vacuums, floor polishers, automatic scrubbers, and buffers.

Empty garbage and recycling bins, replace liners, and transport waste to designated collection areas.

Clean and disinfect washrooms, kitchens, and kitchenette areas, including fixtures, appliances, counters, doors, partitions, mirrors, and floors.

Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet tissue, soap, and sanitizer.

Spot-clean walls, doors, and kick plates to remove marks and smudges.

Clean and maintain elevators as required.

Report maintenance concerns, including clogged fixtures or burnt-out lights.

Perform high dusting, wall washing, and additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Ability to follow instructions, work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate effectively in a team.

Strong attention to detail, high energy, and commitment to providing excellent service.

Ability to use various cleaning tools and equipment; experience with automatic scrubbers is an asset.

Must be dependable with reliable transportation.
