-Strong communication skills with team and members
-responsible for proper cleaning of equipment and spaces used for programming that adhere to health code standards.
-ensure kitchen and pantry adheres to safe food handling.
Meal Program Duties:
-Prepare and cook meals for 20+ participants
-Receive and organize any food donations
-strive to constantly improve programming through problem solving.
-updating kitchen inventory.
-To maintain and report program statistics and receipts to the Executive Director.
Casual Coverage:
-Casual coverage will be required to fill in for vocational or programs as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
-safe food handling certification
experience with food and meal preparation
-experience working in a mental health environment
-strong communication skills
-compassionate, respectful, and able to develop positive relationships.
-knowledgeable and experienced in dealing with people with mental health.
-able to plan, organize, and undertake work in absence of immediate supervision.
-ability to prepare and cook meals for 20+ people
