Description

At Golden West Broadcasting, we've been telling local stories for over 65 years through trusted radio and digital platforms across Western Canada.

West Central Online is looking for someone passionate about community, connection, and storytelling to join our team.

The Role:

-Gathering local stories
-Writing engaging, concise stories for both traditional broadcast and digital platforms, including social media.
-Delivering entertaining, relevant radio shows and newscasts and occasionally interact with the public at station events

The Ideal Candidate

-Youre a natural encourager who thrives on connection and collaboration.
-Youre curious and enthusiastic about social media and digital trends, always eager to try new ideas.
-Youre organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
-Youre a clear communicator with strong writing and speaking skills.
-Youre engaged in the Kindersley communityor excited to get involved.
-Experience with photography, video production, or basic editing tools is an asset.
-Background in media or communications is an advantage.
