Position and Responsibilities
Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for performing routine daily warehouse functions such as:
-Issue materials from mill and outside storage warehouse.
-Off load incoming general freight and prepare / load material for off-site shipping.
-Maintain stock records and files on manual and computerized systems.
-Other duties as required.
Requirements of the position:
-Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
-A minimum of one-year direct warehouse experience
-Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
-Valid class 5 drivers license
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Experience using a handheld device to perform daily warehouse activities
-Experience with computers and computer software (Microsoft Office suite)
-Night shift as required
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
-Forklift and loader operator certification
-Experience work with SAP
-Previous training in first aid, WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods.
