POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the WBYL Supervisor, this position is responsible for delivering daily programs and activities set out by the WBYL Program Coordinator or Team Lead.
WBYL is the only First Nations youth center run by First Nations people in the city of Saskatoon. An approach based on traditional First Nations medicine wheel principles guides the planning, development and delivery of programs and services. The Youth Worker is responsible for the delivery, supervision and organization of Fitness, Sport & Recreation, Family Wellness, Youth Leadership, and Cultural programs in order to provide quality service that promote a healthy lifestyle for all members of the community.  The Youth Worker will be expected to ensure all directives and services best meet the goals, objectives and strategic direction of WBYL.
