HQC is seeking a Program Manager to lead and operationalize program areas that support our mission of improving health and health care in Saskatchewan. Reporting to a Program Director, this role manages a team of professionals and collaborates closely with internal teams and system partners to deliver on organizational priorities.
The Program Manager develops work plans, budgets, and deliverables; provides clear direction and coaching to staff; ensures roles, expectations, and resources are well defined; and leads change initiatives that foster continuous improvement. The role builds capacity in quality improvement, curates evidence to inform priority work, and maintains strong relationships with health system partners and community organizations.
Key competencies include leadership, adaptive capacity, results orientation, continuous improvement, decisive insight, partnership building, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills. The position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, travel within Saskatchewan, and support teams through complex change.
Qualifications:
Masters degree and 3 years of relevant experience (preferably in a health environment), or a bachelors degree and 5 years experience.
Management experience and training in quality improvement (e.g., Lean) are assets.
Valid drivers license and satisfactory criminal record check required.
