Description

Spearing Service is seeking an energetic, organized, and team-oriented individual to join our team as a Dispatcher. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient scheduling, communication, and coordination of our fleet and drivers in a fast-paced oilfield trucking environment.

Primary Responsibilities
    Receive and process customer orders, assigning them to the appropriate units and drivers.
    Communicate load details, schedules, and instructions clearly to drivers.
    Coordinate load and unload times, locations, and directions.
    Supervise and dispatch employees while maintaining strong customer relations.
    Track and monitor all dispatched units and their progress to ensure timely completion.
    Process and submit paperwork when needed.
    Perform accurate data entry and maintain records.
    Monitor drivers daily hours of service, ensuring compliance and reset schedules when required.
    Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation using a company cell phone.
    Perform additional duties and communications as needed.

Skills and Abilities
    Strong knowledge of oilfield trucking rules and regulations.
    Understanding of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) requirements.
    Familiarity with tank truck, vac, hot oiler services as well as related oilfield service equipment is an asset.
    Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
    Ability to act as a liaison between customers, drivers, and management, ensuring clear and professional communication.
    Ability to monitor personnel, workloads, and equipment locations efficiently in a dynamic environment.
    Proficient in a computerized environment.
    Ability to meet deadlines and time sensitive tasks.
