Description

PWM Hydraulics is a hydraulic cylinder manufacturer. We are currently looking for a permanent full-time based individual in our Yorkton Plant.

We pride ourselves in producing high quality custom cylinders to meet our customers needs, from our in-house engineering design to the finished product being delivered on our customers specified schedule. Our focus is providing this service to agricultural, mining, industrial, oil & gas, as well as the transportation sector to help them achieve more productivity and profit.

We are looking to hire a motivated & innovative Mechatronic Engineer in our Yorkton plant. The ideal candidate should have mechanical and electrical aptitude, experience with sensors or automation, and the ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing hydraulic and pneumatic systems with electrical or control components
- Integrate sensors, switches, and instrumentation into cylinder assemblies and test equipment
- Create 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks
- Support programming or setup of basic control modules or test systems (training available)
- Troubleshoot mechanical-electrical issues on prototype or production equipment
- Assist with improvements to automated or robotic manufacturing processes
- Review designs for safety, reliability, and manufacturability
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and adherence to safety practices

Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field
- Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, and controls
- SolidWorks experience an asset
- Manufacturing or automation experience preferred
- Must live in Canada and have permission to work in Canada
