Description

PWM Hydraulics is a hydraulic cylinder manufacturer. We are currently looking for a permanent full-time based individual in our Yorkton Plant.

We pride ourselves in producing high quality custom cylinders to meet our customers needs, from our in-house engineering design to the finished product being delivered on our customers specified schedule. Our focus is providing this service to agricultural, mining, industrial, oil & gas, as well as the transportation sector to help them achieve more productivity and profit.

We are looking to hire a motivated & innovative Electric Actuator Engineer in our Yorkton plant. The ideal candidate should have mechanical and electrical aptitude, experience with motion components, and the ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities:
- Support the design of electric linear actuators and related components
- Integrate motors, sensors, limit switches, and control modules into actuator systems
- Assist with calculations for loads, forces, speeds, and duty cycles
- Create 3D models, drawings, and bills of materials using SolidWorks
- Review designs for manufacturability and reliability
- Help select motors, drives, and electronic components
- Assist in testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electric actuators
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety practices

Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field
- Understanding of electric motors, gearing, and motion components
- SolidWorks proficiency preferred
- Experience with electromechanical or actuator systems an asset
- Must live in Canada and have permission to work in Canada
