Description

Muskoday First Nation is seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and highly motivated individual(s) to fulfill a Full Time and Casual positions of the Community Support Worker (CSW) Role. The CSW will work closely with our Family Well-Being and Community Addictions Teams, as well Community Culture, Recreation, and Sports Teams. The CSW will be responsible for providing mostly after-hours community activities and support services meant to engage Muskoday youth and families.

Developing, assisting and supporting after-hours programming in the community is the objective of this position, and may require transport of youth, children, and families. The successful CSW will be knowledgeable or willingness to learn Muskoday values and traditions. Positive teamwork and inter-department communication is crucial, as the CSW will be making necessary outside referrals, as well as connecting clients to services within the community. Establishing and maintaining cooperative and collaborative working relationships with co-workers and community members is crucial. CSW?s promote healthy lifestyles and healthy child parenting, while also recognizing and reporting possible child abuse or neglect in the community.
