The Opportunity
JGL is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support data-driven decisions across our agricultural, trading, and financial divisions. You will build financial and operational models, create dashboards and performance reports, and support M&A work through valuation modeling, due diligence, and strategic analysis. The role may also guide a junior analyst or co-op student with data collection and reporting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze operational, financial, and market data.
Build dashboards and performance reports for leadership.
Monitor industry trends and economic indicators.
Develop forecasting and financial models.
Support budgeting, planning, and M&A valuation work.
Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Provide basic guidance to a junior analyst or co-op student.
What You Bring
Degree in Business, Ag Economics, Finance, Stats, Data Science, or related field; MBA or CFA an asset.
3-5 years of analytics experience, ideally in agriculture, commodities, or finance.
Strong Excel and Power BI skills; SQL or ERP experience an asset.
Strong modeling, forecasting, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to turn data into insights.
Experience mentoring junior team members is an asset.
