About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Deck Builder Helper to join our team. This role supports our lead builders in constructing, repairing, and installing decks, railings, and related outdoor structures. A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to work in varying weather conditions are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist deck builders with measuring, cutting, and assembling wood, composite, and metal materials.

Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment on job sites.

Support installation of posts, beams, joists, decking boards, and railings.

Perform basic carpentry tasks under supervision.

Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.

Follow safety procedures and company policies.

Operate power tools and hand tools as instructed.

Help with demolition and removal of old structures.

Communicate effectively with team members on-site.

Qualifications:

Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs.

Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.

Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools (an asset but not required).

Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Strong attention to detail and positive attitude.

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (preferred).

Previous construction or carpentry experience is an asset.
