The Manager, Membership and Stakeholder Stewardship leads Discover Saskatoons membership program and manages the partnership with Saskatoon Destination Marketing Hotels (SDMH). Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you strengthen partnerships, deliver member value and keep the organization connected to the businesses that support the visitor economy. You oversee membership recruitment, retention, engagement, communications and events. You also act as the primary liaison for SDMH and support reporting, collaboration and advocacy.
Skillset
Lead the membership program to drive satisfaction, retention and value.
Recruit, welcome and onboard members.
Deliver member communications, renewals and events.
Maintain accurate data and report on trends.
Manage the #Saskatooning training program.
Coordinate SDMH meetings, communications and reporting.
Develop hotel initiatives, campaigns and ROI reports.
Track DMF performance and campaign results.
Prepare briefing materials and dashboards.
Collaborate across teams to align priorities.
Build strong relationships with hotel partners and stakeholders.
Support advocacy and government relations.
Contribute to campaigns, activations and funded programs.
Represent Discover Saskatoon at events.
Support planning, reporting, reviews and related budgets.
Contribute to sustainability, inclusion and destination stewardship.
Toolset and Qualifications
Skilled in CRM systems, project management tools and reporting platforms.
Minimum 5 years experience in stakeholder relations, membership engagement, tourism or business development.
Education in business, tourism, hospitality or communications is an asset.
Knowledge of tourism and partnership development.
Interest in community engagement and Saskatoons visitor economy.
Ability to travel within Saskatoon and regionally.
