Job Duties:
As a Process Control and Machine Operator, your duties will include:
Setting up and operating machinery used in pizza production, including topping applicators, ovens, and conveyors.
Monitoring production lines to ensure consistent product quality and adherence to food safety standards.
Controlling process parameters (e.g., temperature, baking time, cutting speed, packaging rate) and recording production data.
Conducting routine equipment checks and reporting malfunctions to supervisors.
Inspecting pizzas and packaging for defects and ensuring correct labeling.
Cleaning and sanitizing machines and workstations in accordance with HACCP and CFIA guidelines.
Assisting with packaging, palletizing, and cold storage handling as needed.
Complying with company quality assurance, hygiene, and safety standards.
Compensation & Benefits:
Vacation: 3 weeks paid vacation annually (or 5.77% vacation pay)
Overtime Pay: 1.5x regular wage for hours exceeding 8/day or 40/week
Payment Schedule: Bi-weekly, with standard deductions (CPP, EI, tax)
