The Saskatchewan Association of Watersheds (SAW) is a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to protecting, improving, and sustaining ground and surface water quality across Saskatchewan. We are seeking a Communications Manager for a full-time, in-office position at our head office in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Communications Manager will oversee all internal and external communications, ensure consistent and engaging messaging, develop and implement communication strategies that support SAWs brand, and manage the creation and production of marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Skilled in communication strategy, writing, editing, proofreading, layout, and design
Ability to present concepts clearly and professionally
Able to lead and deliver multiple initiatives
Understanding of cultural and environmental community sensitivities
Organized, energetic, and solutions-focused
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and social media platforms
Strong project and time management abilities with attention to detail
Knowledge of current digital and social media trends
Self-motivated with a professional approach
Minimum 57 years of progressive experience in communications, public relations, or a related field

Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan SAW Head Office
Salary:
$75,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience, plus benefits and pension.
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications
CPRS or IABC accreditation is an asset
Strong experience supporting strategic and communications plans
Proven ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate work professionally and on time
