Description

Reporting to the Test Supervisor, the Test Technician 1 is responsible for troubleshooting and testing electronic circuitry and components, attempting to diagnose faults and resolve the faults in the products and diagnose and resolve hydraulic issues.  The Test Technician may be called upon to repair a variety of electronic equipment, thus requiring a strong knowledge of many different forms of circuitry.  The incumbent must also fabricate and solder parts, using the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment to complete tasks safely. The Test Technician is also responsible for generating success/failure reports and developing action plans for improvement.
