The Ministry of Social Services is seeking term Child Protection Workers for the Fort QuAppelle office to deliver services under The Child and Family Services Act and The Adoption Act.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel is required. Strong knowledge of family-centered case management, risk assessment, and intervention planning is essential, along with the ability to manage complex situations and maintain professionalism under pressure.
Responsibilities include investigating allegations of neglect or abuse, assessing family functioning, determining risk factors, implementing intervention plans, and providing support services. You may initiate Family Court proceedings and manage childrens needs in care, including placement, assessment, and long-term planning, often in collaboration with First Nation Child and Family Service agencies.
