The File Hills QuAppelle Tribal Council is a dynamic and progressive organization that provides a range of programs and health services which serve eleven First Nations throughout Southern Saskatchewan within the Treaty Four Territory. Under the direction of the IT Team Lead, the Network Specialist provides technical expertise in the design, implementation, monitoring, and support of network systems to ensure reliable and secure connectivity across all sites and users.
This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of All Nations Healing Hospital and FHQTC Health Services network infrastructure. Duties and responsibilities include network administration & support, security & compliance, infrastructure & projects, and monitoring & reporting.
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
Minimum 35 years of experience in network administration or IT infrastructure support.
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, will be an asset.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
Experience with network hardware (Cisco, HP, etc.) and firewall administration.
Knowledge of Windows Server 2022.
Familiarity with virtualization, cloud networking (Azure, AWS), and VoIP systems is an asset.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Ability to work with Traditional Knowledge Keepers, cultural practitioners and community members with familiarity and respect for all cultures and traditions
