Description

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR, the HRBP acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business units, driving HR initiatives that align with business goals and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Culture: Implement HR programs, support engagement initiatives, and partner with leadership to address people and business challenges.
Employee Relations: Provide guidance on inquiries, compensation, onboarding, disability management, investigations, conflict resolution, and separations.
Change Management: Support organizational change and promote positive adoption.
Talent Development: Facilitate training, coaching, succession planning, and career mobility.
Performance Management: Coach leaders on performance issues and disciplinary processes.
HR Metrics & Compliance: Deliver analytics, ensure compliance with laws, policies, and health & safety programs.
HR Operations: Conduct store visits, manage HR documentation, and support immigration processes.

Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in HR; CPHR designation an asset.
35+ years progressive HR experience, preferably in retail/multi-site operations.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and SINP.
Valid driver's license; ability to travel within SK/MB.

Skills:
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and business acumen.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and HR technology platforms.
