Job Summary
Join Team EPCOR as an Operator I or II (Full-Time, Permanent) at our Regina Wastewater Treatment Plant! This is your chance to be part of a collaborative, purpose-driven team committed to delivering safe, reliable wastewater services and shaping a cleaner, healthier future for the community.

What Youll Do
    Operate and monitor the wastewater treatment plant using SOPs and best practices.
    Perform process field tests, analyze SCADA data, and make operational adjustments.
    Troubleshoot abnormal conditions with peers and the Lead Hand Operator.
    Record operational data accurately to meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
    Ensure compliance with wastewater regulations and ISO 14001 standards.
    Operate and maintain process units, chemicals, and equipment.
    Follow HS&E regulations, correct unsafe conditions, and promote a zero-injury culture.
    Use systems like IVARA and maintain housekeeping standards.
    Collaborate across teams and provide input to operational plans.

What Youll Bring
Education & Certification
    High school diploma or equivalent (required).
    Level II Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certificate (preferred).
o    Candidates with Level I or no certification may be considered for Operator I or Non-Certified roles if committed to upgrading within 12 months.
    Valid Canadian Class 5 drivers license (required); 3A license and 5th class boilerman certificate or willingness to obtain within set timelines.
Experience
    2+ years in a large water utility (less may be considered).
Technical Skills
    Knowledge of biological systems and wastewater operations.
    Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SCADA, IVARA, SAP (Power BI and HACH WIMS are assets).
    Understanding of Canadian HS&E regulations.
