SaskBuilds and Procurement connects infrastructure, procurement, real property, facility management, logistics, and IT to enable Saskatchewans Growth Plan and government services. The Information Technology Division (ITD) is seeking a Senior Enterprise Consultant in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) branch to guide large-scale transformation initiatives across government.
This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic projects that modernize programs and improve service delivery. You will analyze IT structures and operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop business cases and proposals for new projects. Responsibilities include facilitating workshops, advising senior leaders on strategic planning and process improvement, preparing reports and briefing notes, and engaging with stakeholders across ministries, industry, and external organizations. You will also oversee financial planning and budgeting for ITD, develop financial models and policies, assess risks, and ensure compliance with government standards. Additional duties include policy development, reviewing existing frameworks, and representing the province in intergovernmental discussions.
The ideal candidate has a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Public Administration, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience. You bring expertise in managing large-scale transformation projects, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills are essential, along with proficiency in data analysis, database administration, and network development. Knowledge of coding languages and data management protocols is required.
