Job Description: Reporting to the Manager/Director, First Nations Mtis Health, the Clinical Outreach Nurse is an integral member of the team, providing and coordinating initial, continuing and comprehensive nursing services to patients within partnering First Nations' communities/Tribal Councils and Health Networks. This work is done in close collaboration with the clients, including First Nations individuals living on/off First Nation Communities, non Indigenous clients, urban/rural/remote communities. The Clinical Outreach Nurse promotes quality health care outcomes working within established standards for clinical nursing practice. The Clinical Outreach Nurse initiates and/or participates in community development initiatives respecting First Nation's principles of OCAP (Ownership, Control, Access and Possession and is a Registered Trademark of the First Nations' Information Governance Centre (FNIGC). Participates in the evaluation of patient initiatives within partnering First Nations' communities/Tribal Councils and Health Networks.

Education
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
- A valid CPR Basic Life Support Level C certificate.
