Transporter Description:

Picking up and transporting clients (Children or/and adults) to various appointments. In and around Regina

Job may also entail supervising family visits.

MUST HAVE:

Up to date Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector check

Valid Saskatchewan Drivers license class 5

SGI Drivers Abstract

Own a Vehicle that passes safety check annually

Knowledge of child car seat use and safety

Smart Phone

Must be able to work flexible hours & weekends

ABILITIES & SKILLS:

Ability to problem solve promptly

General knowledge of Saskatchewan roadways & cities

Ability to complete multiple forms & reports

Time management skills

Computer skills an asset

Ability to understand & follow direction & policy & procedures

CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED:

Trustworthy & honest

Ability to communicate with children & adults

Ability to work alone & unsupervised

NOT A REQUIREMENT BUT WOULD BE AN ASSET:

Social Work Degree/knowledge

Certificates or Diplomas in other Social Programs (ie. Youth Care Worker)

Defensive Driving Certificate.

Commercial Drivers License (Class 4)



Expected hours: 20  40 per week
