Description

The Finance/Office Student will assist the Foundations administrative and finance team with donation processing, record-keeping, and general office support. This position is ideal for students pursuing business, finance, or accounting who are looking to develop practical, hands-on experience in nonprofit financial operations.  

Strategic Alignment of the Position:  

This role supports the Foundations goal of accountability and stewardship by ensuring accurate and transparent management of financial records. The Finance Student contributes to donor confidence, operational efficiency, and the long-term sustainability of the Foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Process donations, receipts, and acknowledgment letters.
* Assist with data entry, database updates, and mail processing.
* Prepare and deliver bank deposits.
* Support reconciliation of donation and grant transactions.
* Provide general administrative assistance to the finance, granting, and office team.
* Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all financial recordkeeping.

Qualifications:

* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data entry software.
* Reliable, organized, and professional.
* Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.
* Interest in finance, accounting, or nonprofit administration.
