Cigar Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the worlds highest-grade uranium mine. The uranium produced at Cigar Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.
The Role
The successful candidate will work a term of approximately four months (May to August). You will work a rotational schedule commuting to the site by aircraft.
In this role you will:
-Be responsible for general labour duties for the site services department
-Assist with a variety of day-to-day activities.
Required:
-You are currently enrolled in post-secondary education
-A valid Class 5 drivers license
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
-You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.

This is a 4-month full-time temporary student term, starting May 2026 until end of August 2026. There are 2 openings for this position. Interviews will take place in January/February 2026. Students will be notified if they are selected for an interview.
