The Rural Municipality of South QuAppelle No. 157 is seeking applicants for up to (4) Seasonal Full-time Equipment Operators for 2026
EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
Class 1A Drivers License  Have willingness and capability to operate various pieces of equipment as required for the job assigned (grader, semi, tractor, loader, etc.) or possess a willingness to learn operation of the required equipment.
Have knowledge of servicing and maintaining various equipment.
Must be capable of working within a group or with minimum to no immediate supervision.
Attention to detail, safety conscious, and ability to take direction from Foreman.
**Being able to operate other equipment such as a loader and skid steer is an asset**
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Operating various pieces of equipment
Gravel haul and spread
Assisting in road repairs
Assist in installing Culverts
Sign installation
Trucking clay or gravel
Any other tasks assigned by the foreman with the direction of Council
This position reports directly to the Foreman.
